1. Made-to-Order & Commission Status

All instruments commissioned through ROSEWOODGOD GUITARS are individually custom-built to order. By submitting your initial 33% deposit, you enter into a binding agreement to purchase a bespoke, handcrafted musical instrument configured to your technical specifications. 

2. Definition of "Build Commencement" (The Point of No Return)

The "Build Commencement" phase represents the official start of production. It is triggered by the earliest occurrence of any of the following milestones:

• The expiration of a 72-hour grace period immediately following deposit clearance.
• The physical milling, cutting, shaping, or planing of any body, neck, or fretboard wood blanks.
• The placement of specialized hardware, custom pickups, or custom electronics orders from external suppliers. 

3. Absolute No-Cancellations, No-Returns, and No-Refunds Policy

Once the build has officially commenced, all financial transactions become strictly final. 

• Deposit Retention: The initial 33% deposit becomes entirely non-refundable. It will be instantly absorbed by the studio to cover committed artisan labor, allocation of restricted workspace, and dedicated custom components. 
• No Return Window: Completed instruments are built to highly specific ergonomic, sonic, and aesthetic buyer preferences. Consequently, custom instruments are completely ineligible for return, refund, trial periods, or secondary exchange under any circumstances. 

4. Unauthorized Mid-Build Cancellations or Default

If a customer attempts to cancel the project mid-build, or formally defaults on their final balance checkout notification within fourteen (14) calendar days of instrument completion:

• The initial 33% deposit is permanently forfeited to the studio as liquidated damages.
• The studio retains 100% legal ownership of the instrument carcass, components, and hardware.
• The studio reserves the absolute right to finish, modify, and resell the completed guitar on the public market to recoup operational overhead.

5. Technical Specifications Adjustments

Minor specification changes requested after build commencement (e.g., swapping a potentiometer value or pickup brand) are entirely subject to luthier approval. If a change is accepted, it will trigger an immediate Change Order Invoice covering parts variance and labor fees, which must be cleared before production resumes. Major structural changes (e.g., neck wood swaps or scale length adjustments) cannot be made once cutting begins.

6. Artisan Wood & Finish Variance Disclosure

Bespoke instruments utilize high-grade natural tonewoods. The customer acknowledges that wood grain patterns, figuring, knots, and color density vary naturally from tree to tree. Final lacquer tint and grain presentation may deviate slightly from digital render mockups, wood blanks samples, or photography. Natural material variations do not constitute a product defect and will not invalidate this no-refund agreement. 

7. Luthier Craftsmanship & Transit Protection

While sales are strictly final, we stand completely behind the integrity of our instruments. 

• Structural Defect Protection: Every build is covered by our Limited Workshop Warranty against structural wood separation or fundamental electronic failure.
• Transit Damage: If your instrument experiences structural damage during freight, it must be documented and reported to our studio within forty-eight (48) hours of signature delivery confirmation to trigger an insured workshop restoration or prioritized structural replacement.
